11th Annual Dialogue and Friendship Dinner

“Dispelling those prejudices is something we should all work toward,  and that’s why organizations like the Dialogue Institute, which uses education and communication to “eliminate or reduce false stereotypes, prejudices and unjustified fears” concerning various cultural and faith groups, exist.” Mayor Ivy Taylor

The Dialogue and Friendship Dinner draws hundreds of community members and leaders  to build mutual understanding, respect and cooperation among people of diverse faiths and cultures. The theme of this year’s dinner, which was held in the UIW Rosenberg Sky Room, was “Colors of San Antonio: Shaping our Future with Diversity.” Mayor Ivy Taylor delivered the keynote speech.

Our Charitable Partner was Inner City Development and the proceeds of the dinner shared with them. We also featured Inner City Development recipient of the Dialogue Institute Community Service Award; Angelica Docog, Executive Director, Institute of Texan Culture, recipient of the Dialogue Institute Education Award and Rivard Report as the Dialogue Institute Media Award recipient.
